    OFFICIAL RULES
    Spike's Season Ticket Giveaway

    To Enter and Play:

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY.  To play, listen to the Spike O'Dell Show (5:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. CDT) Monday, March 17, 2008 through Friday, March 28, 2008.  Each weekday between March 17 and March 27 at approximately 6:52am, Spike O'Dell (or John Williams, who will be filling in for Spike the week of March 24) will reveal one word that is part of a nine-word sentence.  There will be nine total words given, in the correct order.  Then on Friday, March 28, John Williams (filling in for Spike O'Dell) will ask for a caller to 312-591-7000 to correctly recall all nine words in the given order, which will form a sentence.  Starting with the 7th caller, the first caller that can correctly do so will be awarded a pair of Chicago Cubs season tickets for the 2008 season.

If the 7th caller does not correctly recall all nine words in the given order, he or she will be disqualified and the 8th caller will be given the opportunity to answer.  If the 8th caller fails to correctly recall all nine words in the given order, the process will continue until a subsequent caller in the queue can correctly recall all nine words in the given order and be declared the winner.

The daily words will also be hidden on one of the weekday show's web pages each day. The possible show web sections include Spike O'Dell, Kathy & Judy, The Noon Show, John Williams, Steve Cochran, and Sports Central. For example, one day the word may be hidden on Kathy & Judy's Links & Information page. Another day it may be hidden on Steve Cochran's main page. The daily word will be clearly marked with a Spike's Season Ticket Giveaway icon. The daily word will appear after Spike announces the word on air each day at 6:52am CDT and will disappear each day at midnight CDT.

Odds of winning depend on the number of calls received and correct answers given.

    Contest Deadlines:

This contest begins on Monday, March 17, 2008 at 6:52 a.m. CDT and ends on Friday, March 28, 2008 at 9:00 a.m. CDT.

    Grand Prize:

One (1) winner will win a pair of tickets to each Chicago Cubs 2008 regular season home game.  Value of each prize is $6876.

Winners will be responsible for any applicable taxes and all other expenses related to the prizes that are not mentioned above.  Sponsor (as defined below) is not responsible if any games are delayed, postponed, or canceled.

The Grand Prize consists of use of the tickets only, and is subject to all terms and conditions printed on the tickets. The Grand Prize does not entitle the winner to be treated as a Cubs season ticket holder or to any rights with respect to 2008 post-season playoff tickets or tickets for any season after 2008. If the Chicago Cubs participate in post-season play, WGN Radio may attempt (but is not obligated) to obtain use of the same seats for the Grand Prize winner. WGN Radio does not guarantee that the same or any other seats will be available for use by the Grand Prize winner during post-season play. If seats are available for any post-season home game, the Grand Prize winner will be required to purchase game tickets at his/her sole expense, at the retail ticket price, subject to any deadlines, availability, or other conditions imposed by the Chicago Cubs.

    Eligibility:

This contest is void where prohibited or restricted by law.  Winner must be 18 years of age or older and a legal U.S. resident, excluding residents of Rhode Island, New York and Florida.  Employees (and their immediate family members living the same household) of WGN Radio ("Sponsor") and/or its parent and affiliated companies are ineligible.  By entering, each entrant agrees to release Sponsor and its parent and affiliated companies, directors, officers, employees, agents, and licensees from any claim, loss, liability, damage or injury of any kind, arising from the entrant's participation in this Contest, or his/her receipt or use of the contest prize, if declared a winner.  By entering, each entrant warrants that WGN Radio will have full permission, without further compensation, to use the entrant's name, voice, photograph, likeness and biographical material for broadcast and promotional purposes in connection with the contest.

Prizes will not be awarded, even if announced, if the contestant is not eligible in accordance with these rules.  If you have won a prize valued over $600 since March 28, 2006, you are ineligible to enter or receive a prize in this contest.

    Miscellaneous:

By participating, contestants agree Sponsors have the sole right to determine the winners of the contest and all matters and disputes related to the contest, and that their determination will be final and binding.  WGN Radio reserves the right to delay contest announcements, postpone or reschedule all or some of the contest events, and/or modify contest deadlines if breaking news, sports coverage or other unanticipated events preempt regular programming.  If such changes occur, they will be posted on the wgnradio.com website.  Sponsors will not be responsible for telephone systems delays or malfunctions, faulty internet transmission, or for delays or failures incident to internet transmission of radio broadcasts.

If for any reason, this contest is not capable of running as planned, including tampering, fraud, technical failure, or any other cause which corrupts or threatens the administration, security or integrity of the contest, WGN Radio reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to terminate or suspend the Contest or any portion of the Contest.  ANY ATTEMPT TO DAMAGE OR UNDERMINE THE FAIR AND LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THIS CONTEST WILL RESULT IN DISQUALIFICATION FROM THE CONTEST.

There are no substitute prizes.  Prizes are not transferable or redeemable for cash or merchandise.  Sponsors reserve the right to substitute prizes, should any prizes become unavailable.

A copy of the Official Rules can be obtained by sending a self-addressed envelope to "Spike's Season Ticket Giveaway", WGN Radio, 435 N. Michigan Avenue, Chicago, IL  60611 or by logging onto the wgnradio.com website.

Binny's Beverage Depot Attendance Game 2008

    To Enter:

No Purchase Necessary.  Include your name, address, age, and daytime phone number on a 3x5 card or a plain piece of paper.  All entries must be mailed to: Attendance Game, c/o WGN Radio, 435 N. Michigan Avenue, Chicago, IL 60611.  Enter as often as you wish but only one entry per envelope.  Entries will be accepted beginning Monday, March 17, 2008 through close of business Friday, September 12, 2008.  Entries must be handwritten and may not be photocopied or mechanically reproduced.  WGN Radio will not be responsible for entries lost, delayed, misdelivered, or damaged in the mail.  This contest will only be played during the regular season and does not apply to any post-season play.

During each Cubs radio broadcast on WGN Radio, Sponsors will randomly draw one entry from among all eligible entries and declare that entrant to be that day's contestant.  The name of that day's contestant will be announced on WGN Radio.  During the broadcast, Pat Hughes and Ron Santo will co-estimate the game's official attendance before the actual attendance is announced.  If Pat and Ron's guess is within 2,000 of the actual attendance, the contestant wins a pair of tickets to a designated Chicago Cubs upcoming home game, to be chosen by Sponsors.  Daily winner will also qualify for the Grand Prize drawing held later in the season.  If a substitute announcer fills in for either Pat or Ron, the substitute will play the game.  Tickets won will be mailed to winner's mailing address.

In the event of a game rainout or cancellation before the official attendance is announced, the contest will be played when the game is rescheduled and the contestant will follow to that game.  In the event the game is not made up, the contest will not be played and that day's contestant automatically wins the tickets and is entered in the drawing.  In the event that Pat and Ron forget to play or are unable to play the game on a given date, then that day's contestant automatically wins the tickets and is entered into the Grand Prize drawing.  Winners during the last month of the promotion will receive tickets to a designated 2009 Cubs game.

    Prize Description:

Pair of game tickets to a regular season home Chicago Cubs baseball game valued at $32.  On or about Monday, September 29, 2008 (or whenever the regular season ends), the Grand Prize drawing will be held.  One name will be selected at random from among all the qualifying daily game winners.  Winner will be notified by phone and by mail.  A notification letter will be sent to winner's mailing address.  The Grand Prize is $10,000 in cash.  Odds of winning a daily game prize depend on the number of entries received.  Odds of winning the Grand Prize after qualifying as a daily game winner are 1 out of the number of qualifying daily game winners.  MANY WILL ENTER; FEW WILL WIN.

    Eligibility Restrictions:

Prizes will not be awarded, even if announced, if the contestant is not eligible in accordance with these rules.   If you have won a prize of any value from WGN Radio within 60 days of the game in which you are selected, or if you have won a prize worth $600 or more from WGN Radio within two years of the date of the game in which you are selected, you are ineligible to play or receive a prize in this contest.

You must be a legal U.S. citizen and a resident of any U.S. state except for New York and Florida.  Employees of WGN Radio, Binny's Beverage Depot, participating sponsors, and their immediate families living in the same household are not eligible to participate.  Grand Prize winner must execute an Affidavit of Eligibility and Release.  Winner under age 18 must also have a parent or legal guardian execute an Affidavit of Eligibility and Release.  Winner who is found to be ineligible according to these rules or fails to furnish the executed Affidavit of Eligibility and Release within 30 days after notification will forfeit the Grand Prize.  If the Grand Prize is forfeited, then it will be awarded to another entrant (selected by random drawing from the remaining pool of entries).

    Miscellaneous:

Contest is void where prohibited.  Entrants agree that WGN Radio has the sole right to determine the winners of the contest and all matters arising from the contest, and that their determination is final and binding.  By participating in this contest, each contestant grants permission, without compensation to WGN Radio and their respective agents and licensees, to use the entrant's name, voice, photograph, likeness and biographical material for broadcast and promotional purposes in connection with this contest.  By participating, the each winner agrees to release Sponsors and their parent and affiliated companies, directors, officers, employees, agents, and licensees from any claim, loss, liability, damage or injury of any kind, arising from the winner's participation in this Contest and/or receipt or use of the contest prize.  The Grand Prize winner is responsible for all taxes on the prize.

A copy of the official rules can be obtained by sending a self-addressed stamped envelope to: Attendance Game Rules, c/o WGN Radio, 435 N. Michigan Avenue, Chicago, IL  60611.  A list of Attendance Game winners can be obtained by sending a self-addressed stamped envelope to: Attendance Game Winners, c/o WGN Radio, 435 N. Michigan Avenue, Chicago, IL  60611.  Requests must be received by October 31, 2008.

    OFFICIAL RULES
2008 BACK -TO-BACK JACKS TM CONTEST

    To Enter and Play:

No purchase necessary. Contest begins on the first day of the Chicago Cubs' 2008 regular season (expected to be Monday, March 31, 2008) and ends on the last day of the Cubs' 2008 regular season (expected to be Sunday, September 28, 2008). Contest will not be played during spring training or the post-season. To enter and play, listen to the Chicago Cubs pregame broadcast on WGN Radio, which starts approximately 35 minutes before game time.  During the pregame show, listeners interested in playing the Back-to-Back Jacks contest will be asked to call 312-591-7000. The 7th caller will be that day's contestant. The contestant must give the producer his/her name, address, and daytime phone number. His or her name will be announced on the air by WGN Radio's Cubs announcers during the game.

    Prizes:

If any two consecutive Cubs batters hit back-to-back home runs in the same inning of a game (other than the 7th inning), that day's contestant will win $1,000.

If any two consecutive Cubs players hit back-to-back home runs in the 7th inning of the game, that day's contestant will win $7,000.

Prize winners are liable for all taxes on prizes won.

Only one prize will be awarded per inning, even if three or more home runs are hit.

Odds of winning depend on the number of calls received and on the number of consecutive home runs hit and scored by Cubs players (if any).  MANY WILL ENTER; FEW WILL WIN.

    Major League Baseball Rules Apply:

Even if prizes are announced, they will be awarded only if the game becomes a regulation game under the Official Rules of Major League Baseball. If the game is rained out or called for any other reason before it becomes a regulation game, prizes will not be awarded, and the contestant for the cancelled game will be the designated contestant when the game is rescheduled and made up. However, WGN will not be responsible if the game is not rescheduled and made up. If a game is suspended and completed on a later date, prizes will be awardable if and when the game is resumed and becomes a regulation game.

A prize will be awarded only if the home runs resulting in the prize are scored as such by the Official Scorer and count as back-to-back home runs in the official statistics of Major League Baseball. If the Official Scorer does not score the hits as home runs, for example, because of player error, ground rules or fan interference, or if hits originally scored as home runs are later changed by the Official Scorer or are not counted as such in Major League Baseball's official statistics, the prize will not be awarded.

    Eligibility:

Prizes will not be awarded, even if announced, if the contestant is not eligible in accordance with these rules. Contestants found ineligible will be disqualified and any previously announced prizes will be forfeited.

Contestants may be selected for as many games as they attempt to call-in for, provided they have not been a previous winner in the 2008 season.  A contestant will be considered ineligible if they have already won during the 2008 season.

Employees of WGN Radio, the Chicago Cubs, other participating sponsors, their affiliated companies and members of their immediate families, are not eligible to play or win. Contestants must be U.S. citizens and a resident of any U.S. state except for New York, Florida, and where prohibited.  Prize winners will be notified by phone and/or mail. All winners must execute an Affidavit of Eligibility and Release. Winners under age 18 also must have a parent or legal guardian execute an Affidavit of Eligibility and Release. Winners who fail to furnish the executed Affidavit to WGN Radio within 30 days after notification will forfeit any announced prizes.

    Miscellaneous:

This contest is void where prohibited by law. By participating, contestants agree that WGN Radio has the sole right to determine winners of the contest and all matters and disputes related to the contest, and that its determinations will be final and binding. WGN reserves the right to delay contest announcements due to breaking news or other unanticipated events. There are no substitute prizes, and prizes are not transferable. WGN will not be responsible for telephone system delays or malfunctions, or for delays incident to internet transmissions of radio broadcasts. By participating, contestants agree that WGN Radio, the Chicago Cubs and participating sponsors will have the right, without additional compensation to the winner, to use the winner's name, voice, photograph, likeness and biographical material for broadcast and promotional purposes in connection with the contest. By participating, each winner agrees to release WGN Radio, the Chicago Cubs, other participating sponsors, their parent and affiliated companies, directors, officers, employees, agents, and licensees from any claim, loss, liability, damage or injury of any kind, arising from the winner's participation in this Contest and receipt or use of the contest prizes (if any).
